The Digital Port Technologies Lab was established in December 2019 and awarded Ningbo Municipal Key Lab (Class A) in 2023.

The lab has 40+ members including 38+ full/associate professors, among them national and provincial "Thousand Talents" awardees.

The lab holds multiple patents and software copyrights, and has won awards in several international competitions.
